Person and vehicle smart motion detection Smart person and vehicle detection is available on all channels of this DVR, allowing for the identification of important objects entering the camera's field of view. Push notifications to the Lorex Home app are only triggered when a person or vehicle is detected, reducing the frequency of false alerts from things like moving branches or animals. Motion alerts can be easily reviewed using the Smart Search function in the Lorex Home mobile app.

Face detection The DVR's face detection feature is perfect for front doors and entranceways, as it only notifies you when a face has been detected, preventing notifications from people or vehicles simply passing by. Additionally, you can preview all the faces captured by the camera and filter only face detection events in Smart Search.
